Xiaomi recently teased the launch of its next-gen Android One smartphone Mi A3. The company’s Global Spokesperson Donovan Sung confirmed that the company is working on the next Mi A-series smartphones.
Xiaomi has confirmed the launch of Mi A3 on July 25 in Warsaw, Poland. As from the images, the Mi A3 is expected to feature a triple-camera setup at the back and a waterdrop notch at the front camera.
It can be seen on the display cover that suggests it will be powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC, and not Snapdragon 730 as per previous reports. ( A3 will pack a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 SoC ).
Triple camera setup will apparently be led by a 48MP primary sensor and for selfies, it would be the 32MP front camera. It would come with 6.08-inch AMOLED screen, an under-display fingerprint scanner.
The plastic wrap on the screen leaked the internal key features of Mi A3 which suggests, might be re-branded versions of the CC9 and CC9e launched in China earlier this month.
There haven’t been any official announcements or teasers by Xiaomi. However, Xiaomi global spokesperson Donovan Sung twitted asking what they were looking forward to in the next generation of the MiA series.
Comes with 4,030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. A3 is expected to come in three color variants that may include Blue and White shades. A3 Lite is also expected to be announced alongside.
