- Users will also be able to sort out the follower list on the basis of the date of the following.
To use this feature, go to your profile, then “following,” Now look for the “sorted by” option which may have been set on default. You’re also able to sort who you follow by earliest to latest, in case you want to clear out your earliest adds or make sure you actually care about the latest people you followed.

The CEO of Instagram Adam Mosseri said on Twitter,
“As of today, you can see which Instagram account shows up in your feed the most and who you interact with the least.”
“Now you can tap Following on your profile and manage everything from there.”
You can also manage the accounts you follow easily from thereby changing your follow status or clicking the three dots on a specific account which gives options to manage notifications or to mute that account.
The purpose of this feature highlights Instagram, is to make Instagram a little close-knit and helps you to keep track of the people you follow. This will mostly include people who are friends, acquaintances or people you care about.
