WhatsApp web on your computer – Wanna enjoy a larger display and the keyboard while chatting. WhatsApp has provided a web version for users. So, you can access the WhatsApp interface from your computer right in your browser.
Your phone must be connected to an internet connection if you wanna use WhatsApp on a computer. The platform essentially mirrors the app on your smartphone.
If you’re traveling and your phone doesn’t have an internet connection or you don’t have to assess to your phone. Then you won’t be able to use WhatsApp on another device.

Requirements for WhatsApp
According to WhatsApp, you can use WhatsApp online product (Web or desktop app) if your phone fulfills these requirements:
- Your Android phone should be running Android 2.3.3 or later.

How to set up WhatsApp Web
First thing you should do before using WhatsApp on your computer. You’ll have to download WhatsApp before setting up WhatsApp Web on your computer.
If you using any browser like Chrome, Firefox, Opera, Safari or Edge just head over to WhatsApp Web. You’ll see a QR code on the right side which you have to scan with your WhatsApp phone app.
After scanning the QR code, you’ll be able to assess WhatsApp messages on (Web browser) WhatsApp Web.
Simple Steps To Setup WhatsApp Web
- Open WhatsApp Web on your computer.
- Scan the QR code from your WhatsApp phone app.
- WhatsApp client will open immediately.
- You’ll be able to assess your WhatsApp from your computer.

Note: Once you have logged in to the Whats Web on your computer, remember that anyone with access to your computer can view your WhatsApp conversations as long as you’re logged in to WhatsApp Web.
If you are on a public computer then, you need to sign out when you’re finished. You can do that by clicking on the three-dot menu icon and select Log out. This could protect your privacy.
If you have forgotten to logout from the computer that’s not yours then in this case, you can logout from your WhatsApp phone app visiting the same settings page you used to scan the QR Code. (Settings then WhatsApp Web)
