The honor Band 5 will most likely be released with color OLED display at the event along Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro scheduled for July 23rd. The Honor Band 5 teaser hints a circular button at the bottom.

Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is slowly entering the wearable market with its smart band in competition with Mi band. President of Honor Smartphones, Zhao Ming teased a new wearable on Chinese site.

Interested buyers in the Honor band 5 can pre-order the Band 5 by depositing Yuan 19 till July 23rd through the various sites. (Vmall, Tmall, Suning, and JD).


The photos of the tracker provided in the listing will show a similar design to the Honor Band 4. We can see some upgrades in the form of a color OLED display and a circular touch-sensitive button at the bottom to navigate.

As per leaks and reports, the band 5 will have a colored AMOLED display, record sleep and can monitor blood oxygen levels. It will help in detecting dizziness, fatigue, and listlessness.

Pre-orders are live on the Huawei official website in China now, and for the first 500 people should deposit Yuan 19 into their account ready to buy the tracker and they’ll get a pair of Honor (AM115) headphones.

Honor 9X and 9X pro specs

Talking about the Honor 9X pro and 9x, which is going to launch along with band 5 will reportedly come with a bezel-less display. Honor 9X will be powered by a 7nm octa-core Kirin 810 SoC with ARM Mali-G52 MP6 GPU.

As per the leaks it said to come up with 4GB RAM + 64GB, 6GB RAM + 128GB, and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. The Honor 9X and Honor 9X Pro will run Android 9.0 Pie with EMUI 10 on top. This device may come with a 4000mAh battery with fast charging support.
