Dell Technologies on Friday unveiled its OptiPlex 7070 Ultra — a flexible, modular and zero-footprint PC that targets the sectors like Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, and Information Technology sectors.

This PC is designed for corporate desk jockeys needing to de-clutter their open-office workspaces. Anyone who removed an entire all-in-one PC because one component effected. Then this would be a great deal to them.

This long, slender mini-PC slides into the back of a monitor stand, creating the first all-in-one that’s modular and upgradable. The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra desktop solution offers swappable elements for outstanding flexibility. Price includes a PC module with mount or stand of choice.

The PC has been launched at a starting price of Rs. 47,999 + GST (inclusive of keyboard and mouse). The company is selling compatible display options separately.

The Dell OptiPlex 7070 Ultra places the desktop PC into a monitor stand that reduces footprint. It allows for maximum use of desk space, improves productivity, and reduces IT investment.

I practiced taking the PC in and out of its bracket in the height-adjustable stand. The mechanics are slightly finicky, but once you get the hang of it. It’s easy almost fun to slide it in and out.

The new OptiPlex offers an innovative form factor to support maximum productivity in a compact workspace,” said Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager, Client Solutions Group, Dell Technologies India.

The OptiPlex 7070 Ultra can support up to three daisy-chained USB-C displays at once. Transmitting power, data, video, and audio using ‘DisplayPort’ and giving users the ability to immerse themselves in their work for increased productivity.
